Olamide and Slimcase would not let online social polls break their spirit of camaraderie. A Twitter handle created a poll pitting Olamide against Slimcase, asking who is more relevant on the street this year. Slimcase reacted to the poll, condemned it, stating that it is disrespectful to Olamide who he considers a legend. Olamide reacted to Slimcase’s comment, appreciating the respect the Otunba Lamba singer accorded him.

21 Savage Held in One Of The “Worst Immigration Detention Centres” In The US

21 Savage was arrested on the premise that he’d failed to sort out his immigration status in a timely manner, and was thus eligible for deportation. Even though, 21 Savage, whose real name is She’yaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, has a legal team fighting for his civil rights while he remains in custody.

There is the confirmation from Rolling Stoneand The Blast that 21 Savage is in fact, being held at “one of the worst immigration detention centres in the US,” according to Azadeh Shahshahani, a former senior member of ACLU of Georgia’s National Security and Immigrants’ Rights committee.

The Blast went ahead with its findings even though 21 Savage’s legal team has shown itself unwilling to confirm or deny their client’s current location. Believe what you will, but the Irwin County Detention Center is located three hours from Midtown Atlanta and can hold up to 1,200 individuals at any given moment.

Desperate Runtown Lied Over Court Victory Against Eric Many – Ericmany Limited

Published

on

It has come to the knowledge of Ericmany Limited that our artiste, Douglas Jack Agu, alias ‘Runtown’, has taken to social media celebrating a supposed ‘victory’ in our case in Court.

Runtown is telling lies. Runtown did not win the case. He has not even filed a defense.

On 4th December 2018, the Court ruled that Runtown’s lawyer can appear. But the Court dismissed Runtown’s application challenging its jurisdiction. It held that a breach of the contract is not for arbitration. The Court also held that Runtown should maintain the status quo. This means that Runtown should stop operations until the case is over.

Runtown filed two appeals in the Court of Appeal on these. He then prayed the High Court to suspend the decisions and the trial itself “pending the determination of the Appeal filed at the Court of Appeal, Abuja”. In the meantime, Ericmany commenced contempt proceedings against Runtown due to his flouting of the Court Order.

On 23rd January 2019, the High Court agreed to suspend its decision and further trial to allow Runtown’s appeals to run out. This is normal practice.

The lower Court cannot be seen to be fighting the Appeal Court. The Court warned Runtown to move his papers to the Court of Appeal within 14 days or the relief is cancelled.

So rather than misleading the unwary public that he has won, Runtown should rather concentrate on pushing his appeals.

The relief he got in the High Court is a merely a short break by the High Court to respect the Court of Appeal. The case is still there. He has not filed a defence because he obviously has no defense. Runtown still owes Ericmany more than N266 Million. He has not produced a single album as agreed.

Meek Mill Talks On 6ix9ine’s Imprisonment, Says He Is Not ‘Responsible’

Published

on

Meek Mill would have wanted at some point to counsel Tekashi 6ix9ine before he got caught up in the whole legal mess he is in right now. From Meek’s point of view, he believes Tekashi’s woes could have been different if he backed down a bit from his gangsterism getting to a certain level of fame.

Meek Mill in his words said, “I’d hit him like that shit you doing is stupid at this point. I know you might have got on from doing it and it worked out to be able to make some money. But I think you need to slow down. I think you’re beefing with too many people right now […] The world will deliver the energy that you’re putting out. You’re delivering a gangster type of energy. He locked up in the middle of some sh*t. You gave that energy, you kinda get that energy back.”

“Nobody wanna live like that. You can’t live with 10 security guards forever.”

Meek says he believes Tekashi is actually a good kid that simply got caught up in serious criminal charges.

“Them people know that he ain’t responsible for all the things them people around him was doing. I don’t think that kind of influence. I don’t think he had a say so with some of them dudes.”

“I think he’s a good kid, for real, and got caught up in the internet, and trolling and things like that.”
