Guru Maharaji Reveals Who Will Win The 2019 Presidential Elections In Nigeria

Published

Founder of One Love family, Satguru Maharaj Ji in his 2019 prophecies has revealed who will win the upcoming 2019 Presidential election billed to take place on Saturday February 16th 2019.

Maharaj Ji while addressing journalists at a press conference in his Maharaj Ji village in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital said he saw President Buhari winning the election with more votes than other candidates.

While revealing his vision for the general elections, message for Nigeria and by extension Africa and its leaders in 2019, he said that he did not see people like Atiku, Ezekwesili, Sowore and others winning the election because, more people will vote for Buhari.

He said there are many reasons unknown to many that will make Buhari defeat all other candidates jostling to unseat him in Aso Rock in February, saying that “what the other candidates can do is to support Buhari to take Nigeria to the promised land”. He added that “Atiku, Ezekwesili, Sowore and others should support Buhari instead of aiming to face him in the Presidential election”.

He also advised that anyone that is not happy with his declaration for Buhari in 2019 should come and meet him. He said, “Elections are for human beings. This is the time to call a spade a spade. Buhari is there. He has another term in the office. I don’t see Atiku, Ezekwesili, Sowore and others as President. I believe, if they will listen to me, they should not be thinking of going to elections. They should support Buhari. “Buhari is from the North, he has spent four years now by May, let him complete his second term as the tradition that a man from North will spend 8 years and South will spend 8 years. All of them, they should wait after he complete the second term in the office.

National Assembly Does Not Hate President Muhammadu Buhari – Dogara

Published

on

The Speaker, House of Representatives, Mr Yakubu Dogara, says the National Assembly does not hate President Muhammadu Buhari but only exercising its independence.

Dogara said this on Saturday at the launching of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), for the gubernatorial and National Assembly candidates in Bununu, Bauchi State.

“None of us hates President Buhari and we are not against him, but we are only exercising our independence as contained in the Constitution.

“We are all looking at the plight of our people, especially insurgency, poverty and other vices that have continued to bedevil the masses.

“You can see what is happening between American president and the legislature which is normal,” he said.

Dogara recalled that NASS had, sometime last year, initiated a Bill for the autonomy of Local Government Areas but regretted that it was aborted by State Assemblies.

He emphasised that the autonomy would have diversified development to rural areas where majority of the people lived.

Dogara stated that Alhaji Abdulkadir Muhammed, the Bauchi State Gubernatorial candidate of the PDP would decentralise the local government system in the state, even without the approval of the Federal Government.

The speaker said that personal efforts made by him to reconstruct mosques and schools in his counstituency were scuttled by some individuals.

He warned the people against trying to instigate trouble in the areas, saying that “it is always retrogressive.”

The gubernatorial candidate, Mohammed while addressing the gathering, called on the people of the area to resist the proposal by INEC to relocate collation centre from Zwall to Dass.

Mohammed, who stressed the need for people to change the present administration in the state, assured that PDP would take over the state in 2019 general elections.

He pledged to provide functional education, infrastructure and agriculture, if elected into office. (NAN)

A 27-year-old Chinese man identified as Li Manhu has been made a chieftain of a local tribe by a monarch in the eastern part of Nigeria.

The young Chinese man who works in the administration and communication department of a bridge project undertaken by Chinese constructor CGCOC Group, told Xinhua News Agency that he received the title thanks to the king’s recognition of his company’s contribution to the local community.

Li is in charge of the salary payment of over 200 local workers, and is also responsible for the communication between the project and local communities. With his new title, he can, on behalf of the king, better manage the relations between the two and guarantee the project will run smoothly.

Ye Shuijin, general manager of CGCOC Group’s Nigerian branch, explained that the company has completed over 500 projects in the country over the past three decades.

The company lays great importance not only on project quality and execution, but also on its integration into local communities and its due social responsibility, the general manager said, adding that this is why the company has earned such a good reputation among locals.

Li noted that although he was more like an honorary chieftain, who would not directly participate in the daily management of the tribe, this title would still bring him and the local community closer.

“What comes with honor is responsibility,” Li said, adding that he could feel the weight of this responsibility on his shoulders, and that he would serve as a bridge between Chinese and Nigerian people.

I Wants To Work With INEC To Defeat Vote Buying -Saraki

Published

on

Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki is asking the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, to immediately convene a meeting of stakeholders ahead of next month’s general elections.

Top on the agenda of this meeting, Saraki says, should be the formulation of plans and ideas that will render useless the intention of politicians who he claims are buying Permanent Voters Card (PVC) in preparation for rigging the election.

Saraki brought up the proposal while reacting to a statement credited to Prof. Yakubu. The INEC boss had disclosed that some politicians were already scheming to purchase PVCs ahead of the vote.

Saraki would rather the INEC boss stops raising alarms but instead devise water-tight arrangements to bring to futility “the efforts of such unscrupulous politicians”.

In a statement by his Special Adviser (Media and Publicity), Yusuph Olaniyonu, the Senate President said the development constitutes a major threat to the successful conduct of the 2019 Polls as it can become the single factor that will decide where victory swings in the election.

“We have continued to maintain that manipulation of election results does not start and end on Election Day. It starts long before the day and goes on even after the declaration of results.

That is why we have to continually be vigilant and once we identify any threat to free, fair and transparent conduct of a credible election like the INEC chairman has done, all stakeholders must put heads together to block the loop-holes.

“All stakeholders must come up fast with a solution to render useless the antics of those who intend to procure voter’s cards. We all need to put our heads together and I am sure that such a stakeholders meeting will not only nip in the bud the looming danger, it will also engender general confidence in the system and create a system in which all stakeholders become problem solvers”, he stated.

He added that in the next six weeks preceding the first set of elections and immediately after the elections, it was important for INEC to devise an arrangement in which it would constantly consult with stakeholders to identify issues affecting the process and how to find joint solutions to them.

Vote buying by paying off voters for their PVCs was a recurring theme during recently concluded state elections in Ekiti and Osun.

Senate President Bukola Saraki is a member of the opposition PDP. He also heads the Atiku Abubakar presidential campaign organization.

Mr. Abubakar is President Muhammadu Buhari’s most formidable opponent ahead of the February 16 presidential election.
