Don Jazzy’s Golden Boy, Rema Makes 2020 BET Nominations Alongside Burna Boy. See Full List Inside!

Don Jazzy‘s investment on Rema appears to be a lucrative one as the young act continues to soar higher.

His latest recognition? BET Award Nomination!

Moments ago, BET announced the nominations for the 2020 Awards ceremony — a ceremony which will mark its 20th anniversary.

The awards celebrate the brightest stars across music, television, film, sports, and philanthropy. With notable international artistes like Beyonce, DaBaby, Future, Drake, Khalid, Chris Brown all making it to the cut.

Leading the nomination of this year’s Best International Act Award category is Nigeria’s very own ‘African Giant’ – Burna Boy followed by Uk’s Stormzy and other acts like Innoss’B, Sho Madjozi, Dave, and S.Pri Noir.

Speaking of the category where Don Jazzy’s Golden Boy, Rema falls in — Best New International Act. The ‘Dumebi’ singer leads the nomination alongside other acts like Young T & Bugsey, Sha Sha, Celeste, Hatik and Stacy.

If Rema wins this, that will add up to his award gongs from 2019 City People Music Award for Revelation of the Year ‘and 2019 The Headies ‘Next Rated’.

However, the 2020 BET Awards will air live on June 28 across ViacomCBS networks, including CBS for the first time. The show, which will be a virtual celebration because of the Coronavirus pandemic, will also air on BET and BET HER.
